Aberdeen SANDS in conjunction with the chaplains from NHS Grampian hold some annual events in which you can remember your baby along with others whose babies have also died.

Summer Event
We usually organise a summer event in June to mark SANDS awareness month. Dates can be found in the Events page.
Christmas Memorial Service
Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for families so to provide some comfort a short memorial service is held in Dec in the chapel at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
There are 2 services the first being a quiet service with no children present then a second service for families. The services are open to anyone who has been affected by the loss of a baby.

2021 Virtual Christmas Service
Sunday 12th December, 10:30am
The Aberdeen SANDS Christmas Service, was recorded in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary chapel and led by the chaplains Mark Rodgers and Jarod Meenan. The service will air on Sunday the 12th of December, use the link below to set a reminder. The service will be also available after it airs.
Please have a candle with you to light on the month your precious baby was born.
