UK Sands – Sands exists to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, to improve the bereavement care received by parents and families, and to influence policy makers and promote research to reduce the number of babies dying.
Grampian Child Bereavement Network- ( www. gcbn.org) a local charity which provides children with support when they are bereaved. This may include a referral for counselling.
ARC – Antenatal Results and Choices – a national charity that helps parents and professionals through antenatal screening and its consequences.
Friends of the Special Nursery – A local charity of Aberdeen Maternity Hospital’s Neo-Natal Unit for premature and sick babies.
Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland (CBCS) exists to promote the well-being of bereaved people in Scotland. They help anyone experiencing bereavement to understand their grief and cope with their loss.
